Day 1: Hanoi City Tour by Bicycle

Begin your Vietnam Adventure Trailblaze with a captivating exploration of Hanoi. Cycle through the city’s charming colonial buildings and tree-lined boulevards. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh’s House. Immerse yourself in history at the Temple of Literature, and admire Hoan Kiem Lake and its Ngoc Son Temple. Your day concludes in the Old Quarters, where temples, pagodas, and vibrant street life await.

Day 2: Biking in Ninh Binh (29km)

Embark on a scenic drive to Ninh Binh, a World Heritage Site known for its limestone karst peaks. After refreshing at a local hotel, pedal 12km to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. Explore historic temples amid rice paddies and continue 8km to Bai Dinh, home to the largest complex of Buddhist temples in Vietnam. Cycle 9km to Ke Ga, surrounded by stunning limestone peaks and emerald green paddies. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

 

Day 3: Thanh Toan Off the Beaten Track Cycling

Cycle through picturesque rice fields to Thanh Toan village. Explore the local market, the charming Thanh Toan bridge, and an agriculture museum. Continue through duck farms, chat with local families, and enjoy a traditional lunch. Then cycle back to your hotel, embracing the serene countryside.

Day 4: Cycling Around Hoi An

Cycle along the Thu Bon River, capturing the essence of Hoi An’s countryside. Explore Thuan Tinh Ecological village, water-coconut palm trees, and fishing farms. Reach Cua Dai Beach and visit Cam Thanh, a local fishing village. Optionally, explore Tra Que village, where farmers cultivate herbs and vegetables. Cycle back to your hotel, enriched by the day’s experiences.

Day 5: Triem Tay Hidden Village – Biking

Escape Hoi An’s hustle and bustle for the hidden gem of Triem Tay village. Enjoy a boat cruise, stroll through village alleys, and engage with local artisans. Visit a community garden, an ancient house, and savor local cuisine. A bamboo raft ride adds the perfect finishing touch.

 

Day 6: Saigon – Cai Lay (30 KM)

Depart Saigon for Cai Lay, where a wooden boat ride and 30km bicycle journey await. Pedal along narrow village lanes, past fruit orchards, and local cottage industries. Enjoy tropical fruits, a sampan boat ride, and a home-hosted lunch. Spend the night with a local family, gaining insights into Mekong Delta life.

Day 7: Cai Be – Cai Von – Can Tho (35 KM)

Explore Cai Be’s floating market by boat, witnessing the vitality of river life. Cycle 35km past rice paddies and fruit gardens, encountering friendly villagers. Cross the Can Tho Bridge to reach the capital of the Mekong Delta, Can Tho.

Day 8: Can Tho – Saigon (20 KM)

Set off early for the Cai Rang floating market, the Delta’s largest. Cycle along canals, through peaceful villages, and end at Lo Vong Cung. Enjoy lunch in Can Tho before returning to Saigon.
