Day 1: Sampan Boat Donation
Begin your philanthropic journey in the picturesque Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s rice farming heartland. Here, the Mekong River weaves through vibrant rice paddies and fruit orchards. In this region, sampan boats are the lifeblood of local transportation and livelihoods. However, some families lack the means to afford one. Today, participate in a small sampan donation ceremony, bringing hope to a deserving family. Witnessed by local authorities and villagers, this heartwarming gesture promises a brighter future. Engage in heartfelt conversations with locals, learning about their lives and aspirations before bidding farewell.
Day 2: Lifestart Foundation Workshop
Join the Lifestart Foundation, established in 2000 by an Australian, Karen Leonard, and her dedicated team of volunteers. This foundation pioneers holistic programs to create lasting change in the lives of those in need. Meet a Lifestart representative and embark on a Traditional Painting Class led by Sinh, a previous Lifestart Foundation recipient who now owns an art gallery. Under his guidance, try your hand at crafting a heartfelt greeting card. Later, return to the Lifestart Foundation Workshop for a traditional Hoi An lantern-making class, igniting your creativity.
Day 3: APT Departure Assistance Service (Intl)
Wrap up your transformative journey with a departure made easy. At the airport, our representative will handle your tickets, passport, and luggage, ensuring a seamless departure process. Relax in the waiting area, reflecting on the meaningful experiences of your Vietnam philanthropic adventure.
